Sausages and Pasta

Sausages and Pasta – Serves 4

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ready in: 30 minutes
Ingredients: 450gm (1lb) Viking Sausages
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 tin tomato puree
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon of olive oil
12oz pasta
Directions: Quick, easy and delicious idea for tea or supper featuring Leaning’s home made Viking Sausages in a home made herby tomato sauce. Great with pasta and crusty bread.

Grill the Viking Sausages slowly until nice and brown.

Chop the onion and fry gently in the oil until soft. Add the garlic and herbs, cook gently for 2-3 minutes. Add the tomato puree and then the chopped tomatoes.

Slice the sausages thickly and add to the pan, cook for 10 minutes. Cook the pasta and drain.

Mix everything together and serve with crusty bread and baby salad leaves.
