Sausage Oatcakes – Serves 1

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 35 minutes
Ready in: 40 minutes

Ingredients: A Staffordshire Oatcake
Strong mature cheese
Sausage of choice

Directions: Take a Staffordshire Oatcake (difficult to get hold of outside of Staffs!!) fill with a strong mature cheese and grill till the cheese is browning. Take your favourite sausage (pre-grilled or fried depending on your preference) and drop it onto the cheese oatcake. Roll up and consume. Perfect everytime.

[If you can’t get to Staffordshire to get some “pukka” Staffordshire Oatcakes, one of our visitors has recommended oatcakes from Tesco which are actually called “Staffordshire Oatcakes” are almost as good as the real thing]
