Liam O’Hagan broke the Guinness World Record yesterday for the most number of sausages produced in one minute.
Mr O’Hagan achieved the record from his production unit in Sidlesham, near Chichester, making 44 sausages in one minute – beating the previous record of 36.
Timekeepers from Chichester Athletics Club were there with the stopwatches as he filled and linked his pork, ale and watercress sausages.
‘I’m really happy,’ said Mr O’Hagan after accomplishing the feat.
‘I started helping my dad when I was six and have been working at our business since I was 17, so I didn’t really need to practise.’
