Sausage Hotpot – Serves 4

Ingredients: | 1 1/2 tblsp olive oil 25gm butter 1 large onion (thinly sliced) 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional) 2 pkts 384g Musks Original Sausages 1kg potatoes (sliced) 300ml stock Grated cheese (topping) |

Directions: | Heat oil and butter in a frying pan. Fry onions until golden and place in a separate dish. Gently fry Musk’s Original Sausages until browned. Grease an ovenproof dish and add half of the sliced potatoes. Add the cooked sausages, onion and oregano. Arrange the remaining sliced potatoes. Pour over stock and season to taste. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour. Add grated cheese and serve hot with French bread. Musk’s Pork and Leek sausages may be used as a delicious alternative. |
