Pulled pork sausages are the latest innovation from The Black Farmer, following a Facebook poll to determine its next new flavour.
In a comprehensive victory, pulled pork took over 40% of the vote and the sausages are now available in Sainsbury’s, The Co-operative and Budgens stores.
According to the company, this new gluten-free sausage flavour has hit the market at a time when pulled pork is finding favour with consumers.
“Pulled pork is very much the product of the moment, and The Black Farmer is the first to combine it in a sausage. The flavour is outstanding, and very, very moreish,” said Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, founder, The Black Farmer.
The pulled pork-flavour super-premium sausage combines generous pieces of smoky barbecue pulled pork with British RSPCA-approved outdoor-bred pork and The Black Farmer’s special recipe seasoning. They are available at £3.00 for a 400g pack.
