Jimmy’s farm beer and banger festival

30 August 2009 No Comment

A record turnout at Jimmy’s Farm and great weather made it one of the best sausage competitions I’ve been involved in. I was joined by Jamie Willows (Head Butcher at Jimmy’s Farm), Tony Hadley (Brewer and Spandau Ballet chap) and Thane Prince (Chef and Food Writer).

The quality of the sausages was excellent and this made the decision very hard.

Very deserving winners who beat off stiff competition were Spaynes Hall Farm Meats. Click here for more information.

I was interested to see that Jimmy has started making a range of his own sauces. I’ll try them and review them on www.sausagefans.com.
