These beauties came from Highways of Rickinghall and I was delighted to see the varied sizes giving away their handmade pedegree.

We bought these sausages at the Farmer’s Market at Stradbroke Business and Enterprise College. What an excellent idea, a farmer’s market providing a source of good, locally made, tasty food for the community.

We grilled ours on a medium setting to crisp up the natural casings.

A simple but definite succulent porky flavour, the meat was nice and coarse giving a good texture to the sausage.

These sausages were perfect for breakfast (which is when we had them) but would be equally appropriate for a lunch or dinner due to their versatile flavour.
