Bradwell Butchery – Best in Midlands & East of England Region

Bradwell Butchery has been named the best in the Midlands & East of England after proving itself a cut above the rest in the annual Butcher’s Shop of the Year Awards 2010.

The butcher impressed the judges from awards organiser Meat Trades Journal “A phased redevelopment of this Great Yarmouth shop has seen it double in size through the purchase of the premises next door. Careful planning has resulted in a shop that is spacious and well lit, with plenty of room to display not only fresh and added value meats but cheeses, delicatessen items, baked products, and cakes. With its own car parking area at the front of the store, it’s no wonder the 1,500 customers that visit every week find it a great place to shop. A great range of added value products is displayed and the cheese display, set out carefully on straw matting, was among the most pleasing seen from this year’s finalists. No wonder then that Bradwell Butchery has seen a 40 per cent year on year increase in sales.”

Meat Trades Journal Editor Ed Bedington said: “Bradwell Butchery  passion and enthusiasm for their business shines through on every level. They set standards in the Midlands & East of England that other butchers would do well to follow.”
