Mainstream Foods Ltd, of Stonebroom Industrial Estate, Alfreton, won four Premier Meat Products’ gold honours and a diamond award.
Manager Daran Harris said: “This is the first time we’ve entered this competition and to get a sweep of five honours has encouraged us to enter again next year and we’re looking at entering another prestigious national competition.
“We were competing against tough competition from all over the country so to have done so well is wonderful for the region.”
Mainstream won gold honours for its best pork sausage, pork and spring onion sausage and pork,leek and chilli sausage as well as winning a gold award and a diamond award for its lamb, rosemary and garlic burger.
Family-run business Mainstream was founded in 1954 and prides itself on using locally sourced products including meats from Elliott’s, at Calow, Chesterfield, and seasoning from Derbyshire Fine Foods.
Mr Harris added: “People are appreciating good, quality meats as great value these days and business is going very well.”
